Some frequent business travelers are taking more creative steps to avoid surcharges. Kat Carney, owner of Kat Carney Digital Media Group in Los Angeles is so fed up with paying technology-related fees and room service charges on her frequent trips to New York that she has rented a studio apartment equipped with a kitchen and free wireless internet and digital cable services. “I used to get really antsy the night before it came time to get my hotel bill, because I knew there would be hundreds of dollars of incidental costs,” Ms. Carney said. “This time I plan on getting a good night's sleep.

I made it to NY and picked up the apt keys without any difficulty.
I must say that I am very pleased with my accommodations at 25 East 38 th Street and I will begin using your organization's location to the fullest.
I plan to also make the JPMorgan Chase Corporate Travel aware of your
services and ask that Apt168 be placed on the preferred accommodations roster. I travel to NY 2 weeks out of the month and had been staying at the Ritz, Marriot, and Hilton. I will be back on the 20th and would like to stay at Apt168 again.”
